Anastasia O'Rourke

Anastasia R. O'Rourke completed her Ph.D. at Yale in 2009, with a research focus on the growth of cleantech in venture capital markets. Her research interests include cleantech entrepreneurship, the emergence of innovation systems, environmental finance and the growth of green markets.

Anastasia is an experienced consultant and researcher having worked in Sweden, France the U.S. and Australia, most recently authoring several pioneering reports on venture capital and cleantech. Prior to Yale she worked in France at INSEAD business school and in Australia at the Institute for Sustainable Futures and the EcoDesign Foundation.

Anastasia currently organizes a monthly "Cleantech in Connecticut" networking event and is a co-founder of www.ecolabelling.org.

She earned a M.Sc. (Industrial Environmental Economics) from Lund University in Sweden (2000) and a B.A. (Hons 1st Class and University Medal) from Sydney University, Australia (1997).
